Summary

Patrick and Becky are married.

A Medium's Honeymoon is the ninth audiobook in the Becky Tibbs cozy mystery series. The author recommends that you listen to the audiobooks in this series in order by beginning with A Medium's Birthday Surprise.

Although Asheville's "stay home, stay safe" order is still in place, with the help of friends and family, Becky realized her dreams of a white, outdoor wedding.

Considering the risks of being exposed to the virus in a closed cabin, Patrick cancels their reservations and his plans for a Fiji honeymoon.

Now, he desperately needs to find a special place where he and Becky can explore their mystical connection. Will their honeymoon be the beautiful getaway they hoped for?

If you have been wondering:

  • What happens when the magnetic energy sweeps Patrick and Becky away?
  • Where do they go?
  • Why do they lose time?

Then find out in the ninth book in this #cozymystery series.

Happy ending

I enjoyed this book. I have no idea how the author at book nine can keep coming up with new and entertaining story lines, especially as Becky (or one of her family members) helps three or four ghosts and there relatives in each book. The story is made up by lots of little stories each effecting one of the Tibbs siblings, I think this works well (although some of the stories tug on the heart strings) and keeps the plot line fresh. It helps that the Tibbs family is so likeable and willing to do whatever it takes to help the most in need. The books do continue from where the last book left off, so I would recommend reading them in order. Also the book is set in the here and now, so a lot of things happening in the world like covid and black lives matter do play a part in the story but it is nicely covered and sensitively written about. . It's a great series that never fails to entertain.
Becky and Patrick's honeymoon is cut short when Becky siblings get arrested trying to help a young girl and Patrick loses a family member. Will the problems the young couple face strengthen there love for each other or drive them apart? Even with covid rampaging through the world, ghosts still need the Tibbs siblings help to find the light but Becky has a more human worry to worry about when someone she loves ends up in hospital. Can she still do her part to help?
I liked the narrator. She has a pleasant speaking voice that played well for the characters.
