About this listen

Becky Tibbs has decided to take a vacation.

For the first time in six years.

For the first time since she became a medium with the vocation of helping ghosts with their unfinished business, whatever it may be.
And, for the first time since taking over the ownership of her late parents' antique store in the River Arts District.

Becky Tibbs is closing the store and taking a much-needed and well-deserved break that has nothing to do with ghosts and everything to do with being in love.

This is the sixth book in the Becky Tibbs cozy mystery series. At Patrick's insistence, the two of them are going on a camping trip in Pisgah National Forest with Bobby and Hillary. There will be bathing in the river, cooking over campfires, sleeping in tents, and hiking the trails. Neither Patrick nor Becky has considered that ghosts can find her anywhere.

If you're wondering what kind of ghost trouble Becky can get into, you won't be disappointed. Find out now! The author recommends that you listen to the books in this series in order.

Celebrate with a good book

I really enjoyed this book. I like the fact that the book is made up by lots of different mini stories all centred around the Tibbs family as they help a number of ghosts move on. The unusual ness of the book is what has captivated me with this series, the whole helping ghosts. The characters are like able and have certainly grown from the first book were Bobby was reluctant to embrace his gift and Becky was hesitant and shy, they have really come into there own and made it an enjoyable listen. Don't worry if this is your first adventure into the series because the author nicely fills you in with background information but not to much that it you regularly listen that you get bored. The book sets it up to continue on to the next book with a sort of cliff hanger and I for one will be turning in to find out what happens next.
For the first time in six years Becky is concentrating on herself and her relationship. With the 4th July celebrations coming up and business in the antique shop slowing down it is the perfect time to take a holiday trip with her detective boyfriend, brother and best friend. She leaves the planning up to him and only know they are going camping to relax and enjoy good company. The
problem is when you are a medium ghosts can find you anywhere and they still need your help. Can Becky and Bobby help the ghosts move on even if some of the ghosts have a strange way of asking for help and just what sort of mess are they going to return home to?
I liked the narrator. For this book the author has decided to change narrator's (after five books) and normally I struggle getting my head around the characters sounding different but to be honest that wasn't the case with this book and the change was smooth. In fact I think I actually prefer this one.
I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.
