About this listen

This is the end. How could it not be? Fate waits for none.

It has unravelled across the ages, its web woven throughout millennia of chaos and blood. Now, all that was seen shall come to pass, and there is nothing the heroes of Verda can do to stop it. After years of planning and preparation, Alijah Galfrey is finally ready to change the world. He will break the scales of power across the realm, securing his victory and eternal reign. There is no line he will not cross; no sacrifice he will not make to bring peace to the land.

Spread thin, The Rebellion must work fast to muster their forces and meet the enemy head on. Vighon Draqaro and his allies give their lives to stand against the growing darkness, but only the children of fire and flame can determine the fate for all.

A Clash of Fates is the final chapter in the unmissable epic-fantasy series The Echoes Saga.

At last the End

Loved the first few books, totally brilliant such a refreshing story and read something though went wrong it’s taken me absolutely ages to finish this one, perhaps it was when he killed his favourite most popular character and then brought him back from the dead ….overall however it was great

Satisfying ending

Many epics I have read spent 90 % building the penultimate battle to then drop to an abrupt end leaving me wonder what will happen next to the characters and if there ever will be a sequel. What I like most about A Clash of Fates is Philip honoured each character with just enough page time to set the stage how their lives go on from here without overstretching the entire story. This was the most satisfying end I read in a long while. It is a fabulous epic!

Last of Nine Books

I really enjoyed all of the books in the 3 trilogies, loved the characters, I'm now going back to the beginning - Asher the Ranger - 'Court of Assassin's ', I would recommend the series to all lovers of high fantasy.

An amazing series!

I'm actually a little sad I'm finished now. I started with The Ranger Archives and then straight onto The Echos Saga, so I've done all 12 books back to back. I love this world!! The characters are great, the story captivating and the narration is just right.

I know you can't keep coming up with enemies that almost ruin the world.. but I'd settle with a few more books in the series just focussing on Asher going around fighting monsters (like the ranger archives) with all the other main characters making appearances. Maybe a drink in the Pickaxe, a trip to the palace etc. I just need more!!

I know Leviathan follows on this story and I really want to listen to it, but I can't bring myself to spend a credit on a book that lasts for 5 hours.. so I'll wait and see if it ever goes on sale.

Overall this has been my favourite audible series to date and it's going to be a tough one to beat it.

Fantastic

What a great ending to a wonderful saga. I enjoyed every minute of every book. Thank you Philip for not ruining the ending like a lot of authors unfortunately seem to do.

Another that kept me listening into the wee hrs

This final book kept me enthralled the same as the others did. There are possible ways to bring in another story with Inara and Vigon's children, the out break of the Orcs again. please dont let this be the last. I love listening to steven Brand bring these books to.life.
