Absolutely loved this, even though it made me cry at times! :-) We are honoured to share our garden with Hedgehogs every year, and have done for the past 20+ years.
It's wonderful that accurate information about them and what can be done to help them has been woven into such a fantastic story.
Can't wait to listen to the next book in the series, and will then be impatiently awaiting the release of the forthcoming third installment too!

not my usual choice of book but I'm glad I tried it. it had me laughing and crying but thoroughly enjoyed everything minute.
Samantha's battle for acceptance from her mother was dealt with very sensitively and the journey to find herself and her place in the world. the characters where all brilliantly explored and the narrator did an excellent job with voices and delivery

Thoroughly enjoyed the book. Took a while to get used to the narrator and still hate the way she announces the chapters.... But otherwise she grew on me. The story could have been predictable but actually there were enough little twists and turns to keep it fresh and alive. Not going to lie.... It had me in tears a few times as the descriptions of some events tugged at me..... And the mother daughter relationship was a great twist.....although I really wanted to lay into the mother and knock some sense into her!!
Book 2 will be my choice next month.... Book 3 after that.
