Amazing narrator!
I had to double check to see if it was more than one narrator! I can’t believe it is just one lady! Book is brilliant - definition of burying your head in the sand and thinking all around you is fine!

Not sure!
Good storyline but not sure which category it fits into. Not really a thriller. Wouldn’t put it in the crime section either. A good story with a soppy ending which was for me, disappointing.
Not one of Lisa’s best but wasn’t so bad that I abandoned it!
The narrator did her best trying to do a multitude of different voices but it almost spoilt it for me and just reading the story would probably of worked better.
Not great but not awful.

As usual another good book from Lisa Jewell
Whilst not my favourite book from this author it was an enjoyable listen. Lisa Jewell always serves up likeable well defined characters. I suppose my only complaint is the general lack of nail-biting excitement the story meandered along with no real twists.

A Very Thought Provoking Book
I really enjoyed the third wife. She captured the essence of many divorcees especially the male leaving his children. The grass is greener scenario is all to familiar today and it’s gratifying to see he finally took responsibility for his actions and the affects it had on his family. Very very thought provoking.

uninspiring
normally enjoy Lisa Jewell but this one was pretty uninspiring. I forced myself to listen to the end but it never really interested me.

Another compelling Lisa Jewell
I love Lisa Jewell’s writing. They are always very character orientated with engaging storylines. This book is brilliant, a little unrealistic, but great characters coupled with first class narration. It gives a good insight into relationships after divorce and delivers an interesting moral message. Kept my interest to keep listening. I think Lisa Jewell is a very clever writer. Highly recommended.

Struggled to finish it...
I have listed to all available Lisa Jewell books and have loved them all but sadly not this one. i would praise the author on her other books for the superb narraters but unfortunately for me Emma Gregory just didnt have me gripped.
The male voice of Luke grated on me and i found myself drifting off often during the story. in fairness to EG the story was not my favourite so it was probably a combination of the two.
i did see it to the end but to honest the ending was terribly weak so wish i hadn't bothered.

I also like change
I would not like to reverse my life changing decisions since they have always led to better experiences. This includes my decisions not to betray my existing love. The difficulties in a relationship are the testing points of a relationship and part of a loving relationship not separate. Hurdles that are strengthening. There are or have been absolute betrayals of my love and when I have made the decision to give in to them and that’s when life unfounded
then the blessing emerge Great story the children showed the real feelings of the main characters
