Tripp lives with his wife, Alison, in the Chattanooga, Tennessee area. They have three married children and six grandchildren who are a constant delight in their lives. Soul Brothers is Tripp’s first book; he hopes to write others. Tripp is the Co-Founder of SIM’s Sports Friends ministry. He and his family lived for multiple years in both Ethiopia and Thailand as Sports Friends began ministry in these locations. From 2002 to 2022, Tripp provided global leadership to Sports Friends as it expanded to serve hundreds of thousands of young people on five continents. He currently serves as a global ambassador for Sports Friends. Prior to his time with Sports Friends, Tripp worked as an investment banker specializing in advising corporate clients in mergers and acquisitions and various capital raising options. Tripp earned a B.S. degree in business administration from the University of North Carolina where he was a Morehead-Cain Scholar and an MBA degree from the Harvard Graduate School of Business.
