TONY HUNT - VOICEOVER ARTIST, NARRATOR AND WRITER A recent comment from one of the writers whose novels I'm recording for Audible: 'They are superb, Tony! Brilliant story telling. Very easy to listen to. Excellent work!' A 'thank you' from a recent VoiceOver client: 'A Voice That Resonates Beyond Words! I am thrilled to share my phenomenal experience working with Tony, a voiceover master whose work I had the privilege to employ for a dear project of mine. As I reflect on the completed project, Tony's voice has not merely been a contribution. It has been a vital thread in the fabric of a project very close to my heart. The emotional depth he brought to our project was not just heard, it was felt. I am not just recommending Tony. I am urging you to experience the magic that is his voice. Tony, your voice has left an undeniable mark on our hearts. A simple thank you does not suffice, yet we are beyond grateful!' I work as a management consultant and facilitator with managers and senior executives and I specialise in soft skills development. Most of my engagements are in the UK and Europe, but many have been much further afield in places like Dubai, Tokyo, Riyadh and Addis Ababa. Among my qualifications is a master’s degree in Theatre Arts, and I began my writing career with stage plays. I've done voice-over work for television, including a documentary on the painter Rene Magritte which was broadcast by ITV 1 in their ‘Perspectives’ series. I've also recorded some programmes for BBC CBeebies, and had the satisfaction of freaking out my little grandchildren when they heard my voice! Because I work as a professional presenter and am very much at home with audiences of any size, and I enjoy any opportunity when I can share my stories with people in a live environment. My professional work has involved writing and presenting business seminars on many topics, nine of which have been recorded and are now on internet learning portals all over the world. In my creative writing, I like to focus on detail, and in the short story, I think that I've found an ideal format for my style. My two Amazon collections: ‘Geordie Boy – Small Events in a Child’s Life’ and ‘ForGiving – Dark Tales from the Charity Shop’ are written with specific readers in mind – the first focusing on nostalgia and the second concerning the challenges of later life choices. Two of my plays are also available on Amazon. 'Dark Charity' is a stage adaptation of my book, ForGiving, offering excellent roles for older actors. My recent comedy, 'Happy Endings' is set in a Job Centre, where the two main protagonists attempt to resolve their mid-career employment crises by exploring quite radical options. My wife Wendy and I live in a quiet Lake District valley in a farmhouse once owned by Beatrix Potter. Our five children now are pursuing exciting but entirely different careers. My Facebook and Instagram page is TonyHuntsBooksandVideos. By searching 'Tony Hunt' you can also find my business-orientated webinars on Udemy and Lecturio.
