Hi,
I'm glad we've finally made this connection. You are very special to me because you are the manifestation of my fantastical creative mind. I have been actively participating in bringing life to my vision of you reading this book. You were searching. I was searching. Now, here we both are. Allow me to introduce myself. Who I am is important only in that, you should know, I'm not your average meditation / mindfulness / spiritual / energy guru (or whatever the word of the day is). No, I'm not some super-guru either. So, yea I've been studying my butt off for years under the tutelage of some of the greatest holistic practitioners to be found on this marble .. or any other as far as I know. And ok, so (full disclosure) I'm ordained as well.
I know. The two don't really seem to go together at first. 'But wait, there's more'. I've always wanted a legitimate reason to say that. (I crack myself us sometimes) And, since I'm being honest, I should tell you that I have studied with the following faiths and/or practices as well ~ Omnipresence, Unnameable Energy, Jesus, Witchcraft, Metaphysics, The Book of Mormon, Literal Bible, Christianity, Five Percent, Islam, Baptist Faith, Nondenominational Faith, Yoga, Tai Chi, Qi Gong, Falun Dafa, Zen, Transcendental, Atheism, Humanism, Racism (Yes I believe racism is a religion. If you dig this kind of open thought, subscribe to my podcast newsletter and you'll be the first to know when the article is published. That was a lot of punctuation. If you're listening to the audio-book, you're probably a little confused about that last sentence. Keep listening. Remember what I said about it all coming together... eventually.
Anyway... Buddhism, Jehovah's Witness -YES, I let them in! (This was pre-C'RonaMonster), also stubborn people (who just refuse to have any discussion on matters of any real importance), and plenty of people who have no idea on what to believe because they can acknowledge that the whole thing is mind-boggling and we'd have to be completely stupid to think that one of us, or a group of us have the audacity to judge ourselves as right and another as wrong in our journey to find that presence of which we are all aware and in which we all long to bask. Isn't it so? I realize that we are all right. All or none. Humanity or DE-Humanity. Together or Divided. Uni-verse or Clamor. Ease or DisEase.
… Oh, Reiki. I'm also a Reiki practitioner. It just means that I'm an energy bender. Really though. I am. And you can be, too. Where was I? Was I saying how my thoughts may jump around subjects, but that I will get back to it and it will all make sense? I just thought of that... Just Edit. Seems like a catchy tagline. I'd better go ahead and trademark it now in case Universal Spirit wants to bless me with a sponsorship from a major global conglomerate who absolutely could NOT move forward in their expansion without using said tag line belonging to me and pay me a hefty sum to do so. Just Edit™ . No. not joking at tall there. My apologies for the interruption. But how many times have you gotten a seemingly silly idea or inkling or spiritually tingly idea but brushed it off – only to realize later that it was a gift from US that you just tossed aside because it SEEMED so out of the box? Hhhhhmmmmmm? I'll wait..
Yea. That's what I thought. Oh! I remember now. I was saying how I'm not going to glaze over (you know what) and tell you it's sugar. This may look like a book and quack like a book, but don't get it twisted; this is a portal .. a deep, probably dark, maybe frightening, bizarre portal where you will find all sorts of realizations you thought you weren't even able to imagine. I have no idea what you will find in this portal. It's YOUR Inner Being. What I do know is where it leads. It leads to you. And by you I mean your truth. And by truth I mean 'all that is and is not', even if 'is' and 'is not' do not exist and existence itself doesn't even exist. Yep, that Presence I was talking about before. The Great G.O.D (Great Omnipotent Divine) herself; that Father in Heaven that J.C. was telling us about, the Vortex, Zen, and so on. “Why would I want to go there?”, you might ask. Because that's where anguish, grief, pain, suffering, guilt, sorrow, regret, shame and all that other junk that weighs us down and makes this existence feel like we're doing little more than dragging our poor rebellious bodies around powered by the will of a diabolical brain pumping all sorts of negativity into our spirits and stifling our creative mind – than an actual LIFE, will be transformed into PEACE.
Note to self. Keep the run-on sentences to a minim.
You know, if this book had to be written with a quill, or worse yet, carved in stone, you probably would never get to read it. Because; forget that! Can you imagine having to actually chisel a stone tablet? … I think I was saying how you can expect me to share all that I am and the wisdom I have acquired through blood, sweat and tears. You can expect me to put love and intention into everything I create for you and for me to do my best. You cannot expect me to color inside any lines or even acknowledge that lines exist or identify with the word 'line' in any way. Further, you cannot expect me to tell pretty lies to your ego while your soul is starving for lack of truth. Get me?
At this point you may be thinking “Who is this crazy woman?” or “How dare she state righteousness so emphatically.” Or, maybe you're making the sign of the Cross or clutching your prayer beads or your head, rolling your eyes, swiping, or sucking your teeth in disbelief. If so, that's perfectly planned. You have read this far and you have had a reaction. I have touched you. Admit it! JK.... This book is for people who are genuinely willing have the adventure of a lifetime; the journey to connection with the you that is all that is. My prayer and intention is that my work can be a stepping stone in your journey to live your truest, most fulfilled life yet.
