Terry Barca lives and writes in Melbourne Australia, mostly while sitting in bed. Photography has been a lifelong passion. I plan to live until it is no longer viable. I’m slightly amazed that I’m still here. Small dogs play a large role in my life and in my stories. Happily married with two grown sons, one of whom still talks to me. Single malt whisky drinker. I dislike travel, but I like people who write about it because it saves me from having to do it. I own a classic car but its continued presence in my world depends on me selling a few more stories and publishing another book, or two. My car is a character in my first novel. I like cars because, unlike my friends, they don’t complain when I put them into my stories. I would like it if people did not shoot at each other, but that seems to be unlikely to stop anytime soon. I consider coffee to be a health food and I enjoy walking my dogs, but not necessarily while drinking coffee. I’ve seen more movies than you’ve had hot dinners and I dream in technicolour. It annoys me when writers spell ass instead of arse, but what would I know, I cannot see mine without a mirror. I love trees and I enjoy the small feathered things that sit in them. This bio is meant to be about 600 words in length, but I cannot be bothered writing anything else so just pretend that I did.
