Dr. Taylor Field has served as the pastor of Graffiti Church (East 7th Baptist)and director of Graffiti Community Ministries in New York City for the last 34 years. www.graffitichurch.org Graffiti Community Ministries serves and empowers children, youth, and adults on the Lower East Side of Manhattan. He works together with his wife, Susan E. Field. Taylor has a PhD from Gateway Seminary and an M.Div. from Princeton Seminary. Taylor has written several urban ministry books as well as a novel, "Squat," about the Lower East Side in the 1980's. He has two married children both of whom live in the Northeast. In his Upside-down series (one book written by his wife, Susan), Dr. Field explores the way that the Gospel of Jesus Christ turns the world's values "upside-down" which, in relation to the redemption of God, is actually a world that is right-side-up. He has also written a book about wilderness journeys called "The Wayward Way," published by New Hope Publishers in 2018. His most recent book, "Relentless," gives a new take on old Bible stories. It explores when to relent and when to keep fighting.
