I am a Minnesota native who grew up in the Twin Cities. I'm proud of my Minnesota roots, and they have shaped who I am today. I started writing poetry to express my pent-up emotions. I found that poetry provided a safe and controlled space to explore my feelings and let my creativity run free. It wasn't until I was in high school that I met an English teacher who encouraged me to expand my writing beyond poetry. I started writing plays and short stories, and eventually began trying my hand at a full-length novel. Over the years, I kept writing with the goal of becoming a published author. Life threw me several curveballs, but I kept writing, even if it were just to ease my mind. I've been on a decades-long journey to get to this point, but I'm finally ready to share the creativity that spawns from my mind. I hope you'll enjoy the fruits of my labor.
