Sylvia Torrence is a writer and is passionate about learning and teaching new ways of communicating effectively. She grew up in a big family in St Thomas, Jamaica. Eventually moved to various states in USA, eventually living full-time in Indiana. She worked in the healthcare industry eventually going on to become a private carer for elderly people. She went on to get married and have children. Busy mum of six children struggled with communication with her own siblings then she saw these patterns being repeated in her children's relationships with each other. She decided to look for ways in which she could better herself and become a better communicator with her own siblings and thus teach these good communication skills to her own children. When Sylvia isn’t busy writing, she loves to travel with her husband and children, and she has a passion for cooking meals from different cuisines. Sylvia also loves to hear from her readers.
