STEFANIE TASCHINSKI, born in 1969, studied history, sociology and screenwriting in Hamburg and Berlin. She writes children's books full of warmth, wit and poetry that invite you to reading adventures. Whether "The Little Lady" chameleons, the lynx girl Lumi tries to find a new home for Rus in the "Funklerwald", or Emma tells of her "Family Patchwork" - the author, whose books have won several awards and have been translated into numerous languages, takes her listeners into worlds full of fantasy. The author is co-founder of the Hamburg author network "DIE ELBAUTOREN Kinder- und Jugendbuch". As a writing coach for the project "Schulhausroman" - Literaturhaus Hamburg, which she has been supporting for a long time, she recently worked on a novel with the young people of Hahnöfersand Prison. She is committed to promoting reading and takes part in conferences as a lecturer. The author lives in Hamburg with her husband, two daughters and dog.
