Shelly Briggs worked as a couples therapist in a small Bavarian town until 2019, before discovering her love of writing. "Heavenly Thingamajig – Whether you like it or not" is the start of a promising series about the young entrepreneur Maximilian von Theis. Despite her experience in the interpersonal field, she does not interfere in the love lives of her characters, but lets them do 'their thing'. Her role models include Nora Roberts, Cecelia Ahern and Anne Hertz.
