Samuel Jacobowitz is a 17-year-old musician, author, and advocate for music education based in NYC. He attends Midwood High School in Brooklyn, New York, and studies trombone performance at the Juilliard Pre-College. He is the founder of MusicEdMatters and is a member of the National Honor Band and Youth Orchestra of the United States. Through his writing, Sam seeks to educate others on the importance of music and improve equity within music education.
