As of the date of this writing, Ryan Hunter has never tried huckleberries. To be honest, he's not certain that they are real things. Never the less, Ryan Hunter perseveres. Ryan Hunter grew up in a small NC town, Hayesville, where he discovered at a very early age that the things that his friends loved; sports, music, pro-am lumberjacking were just not his cup of tea. He was good at making words do fun and unexpected things though. Ryan Hunter credits his love of stories to growing up on the stage in such plays as Annie, Oliver and The Wizard of Oz and spending countless hours playing with action figures ("They're not dolls, Mom!" - Ryan Hunter) and building worlds in which they could have fun adventures. Ted & Stuff, Mr. & Ms and the Sahara Series are but a few of the books Ryan Hunter has written, one or two of them are even kind of good. Ryan Hunter still lives in Hayesville, NC with his dog Hope.
