Ruthann grew up in Upstate New York, where her favorite month of October is otherworldly. She writes dark speculative, gothic, and fantasy fiction from her current home on a rural cattle ranch in Texas. Many successful anthologies feature her work, along with solo and collaborative projects. New short stories and novels will be released in 2025-2026, including an anticipated sequel and a Southern Gothic-inspired dark romance. Superstitions, backyard boogeymen, folklore, and myth influence her work. She’s been featured on numerous panels at literary conventions and is a popular guest on podcasts and interviews.
