Ross Wells, an American Author, Journalist, Film-Maker, and Educator, studied creative writing, video production, and theatre arts at Texas Tech University. "MOVIE BUFFS WILL LOVE IT!" writes critic Heather Froeschel (BookReview.com) about his first novel, eXploZion!. Ross has written, photographed, edited, and directed three films: "Haunting Mary Shelley" (Award Winner: Outstanding Video Production), "Raven's Nightmare" ("Lone Star hospitality to a hapless lassie...floating camera through the cemetery Evil Dead-style...enhanced by a GREAT BLUES SOUNDTRACK!" Rowdy Yates, Film Threat Video Guide) and "eXploZion! Director's Cut" (2019)" based on his novel ("An outcry for artistic freedom of expression!" Sandra Okamoto, Columbus Ledger-Inquirer). Ross has written film and theatre criticism for the Columbus Ledger-Enquirer (Columbus, Georgia), San Antonio Current, and has served as San Antonio Film Examiner for the online newspaper, Examiner.com. His most recent book is "In the Realms of Madness" (2019). In 2021 Ross co-wrote (with Mario Charles and Lisanne Bippert), directed, edited, and acted in the feature film "Let's Scare Rachel To Death."
