Award winning New Zealand author, Robyn Prokop, writes epic fantasy and children's picture books. Prokop has lived in Brisbane, Singapore and Melbourne, but her heart remains in New Zealand and the lifestyle block in Nelson that has been home for the past 20 years. Her inspiration comes from the stunning New Zealand environment, from years of teaching senior English and History, and the fascinating people she has met - both in her life and in the world of stories. Her debut novel, Taelstone, won a bronze award from the Wishing Shelf Awards in 2019, followed up by a Red Ribbon Award for the sequel, Heartstone. Book 3, Darkstone, launched at the end of 2025. The final instalment of the Stones of the Azuri series is expected to be available in 2026.
