Roberto Martínez Guzmán was born in Ourense, Spain, where he still lives. His literary career began in 2010 with the publication of Real diary of a batteed woman, an original non-fiction book that leaves no one indifferent. Just two years later, in 2012, he presents her first novel, Death without Resurrection (Eva Santiago 1), which reveals itself as a story full of intrigue that soon reaches the top of Amazon sales in several countries. With Coffee and Cigarettes for a Funeral (Eva Santiago 2), he consolidates her ability to keep the reader restless until the last page. His third novel, Killing Cinderella, published in 2016, definitively establishes him as an author for whom intrigue in a novel is a non-negotiable requirement. Three years later, in 2019 he published The Luck of the Idiots, which in just over a year became the most downloaded novel in the history of Amazon Spain. His last publication is, in 2021, The Envy of the Mediocre.
