Rhonda Lucas Donald is a rhyme-ster and nonfiction specialist. She has written more than a dozen books for children and teachers, including her latest books, IF A MUMMY COULD TALK (all about the scientific ways we can learn about mummies), LOP-EARED LILY (a little dog with mis-matched ears), and FIONA FINDS LOVE (a touching rescue story). DINO TREASURES takes a look at the science behind some of the latest fossil discoveries. DINO TRACKS is stomping around, too, and DEEP IN THE DESERT is a Silver Moonbeam award winner! DEEP IN THE DESERT has also been selected for New Mexico's State First Grade Reading Initiative for 2018 and 2019. LIFE ON OTHER PLANETS, and Scholastic activity books on AMERICAN HISTORY CRAFTS AND GAMES, FROGS, SHARKS, SPIDERS, and WOLVES are also available. Rhonda specializes in writing about science, and she particularly likes to create science-related crafts and activities and write songs and poems about animals and space. Rhonda loves animals, traveling, and movies. She shares her home in Virginia with a dog and cat.
