Pete is a published lyricist (with 2 CDs of original music), published poet (in various anthologies), and a published author (prior book entitled Airplane Etiquette: Traveling with manners. When Pete is not writing, he is a horticulturalist, currently working for a large agricultural company, as a live plant buyer. He has lived in many states, including Michigan, Kansas, Oklahoma, Florida, Virginia, Pennsylvania, and currently, he resides in a suburb of Chicago, Illinois. His career involves quite a bit of traveling, and Pete has visited every state in the US (with the exception of Hawaii). It was this intense level of travel, that prompted his first book: Airplane Etiquette: Traveling with manners. Some of his writing influences are: Kinky Friedman, John MacDonald, Herman Raucher, Don Blanding, and Longfellow. On the song writing side, he is inspired by the three “Toms”: Tom T Hall, Tom Waits, and Tom Russell. Not to overlook Bob Seger, Jimmy Buffett, and Paul Simon.
