I am a mom of 5 great kids and grandma and have an AMAZING boyfriend that has been supportive of me through every step of life since February 2013. We live in Gate City, Virginia. I also have 4 sisters and one brother who are always there for me as well. My mother, Sharon Michaels, encouraged me to write when I was a child, but I have never had anything published until now. I have written poems, short stories, and now my first novella. I have now also published a poetry book with my mother, and a journal for reflection or study that begins each page with a bible verse. .
