Nino Gabashvili was born in Tbilisi, Republic of Georgia, into a family of professional artists. Her passion for art led her to study at the Tbilisi State Academy of Fine Arts, where she honed her skills and developed a love for creativity. Since 2006, Nino has been a proud member of the Artists Union of Georgia. A professional artist, Nino has always enjoyed expressing herself through various forms of creativity including writing poems from a very young age. Currently residing in Chicago, she finds inspiration in her beautiful surroundings and her beloved eight-year-old twins, Sophie and Stanley. It is their boundless imagination and joyful spirit that inspired the enchanting story you hold in your hands. Nino’s love for nature, music, and uplifting books shines through in her work. She aims to create entertaining, heartwarming, and positive stories for children and their families. She hopes to spread joy and positivity with this book. Every illustration in this book is lovingly painted by Nino herself. Her art is known for its bright, colorful style which brings each page to life.
