Nevada York was born in California to wonderful parents who helped grow her dream of being a writer. Her first book, "Caught Up" was recognized by Essence Magazine. In 2004, she wrote the sequel "Mahogany's Revelation." The series follows the central character Mahogany Fox's life as she matures into an adult woman. Her novels are only available exclusively via Kindle. Nevada has also published a workbook "Journey to Salvation" a workbook designed to assist lost souls in finding answers for the truth.
