Nancy Richmond has been a writer for over thirty years, both as a columnist for numerous newspapers and nationally syndicated magazines and as an award winning author who has published over 40 books. Nancy is both an historian and a certified genealogist. Ms. Richmond attended Bluefield State College as a Business major, and has worked as a Seneca Mental Health professional, a Town Recorder, a police clerk and a Municipal Court Judge. She is a member of the West Virginia Writers Inc., The Daughters of the American Revolution and the Greenbrier Historical Society. Ms. Richmond's book "Appalachian Folklore" is used in medical schools to introduce student doctors to the unique culture and history of the region. Many of her books have been inducted into the Library of Congress Historic Reading Rooms at the Washington DC Library. The author is a lifelong resident of West Virginia, and currently lives in Greenbrier County.
