Michele Pitts-Brown is a Registered Nurse, Licensed Social Worker, and passion-filled parent. Her professional expertise and personal experiences of raising two children, one of which has autism, positioned her to answer the call to advocate for individuals and families affected by developmental disabilities. As the founder of Michele Pitts-Brown, Consultant and Advocate, LLC., she is dedicated to cultivating vocational opportunities, independent living skills, and inclusion for individuals with unique abilities. With a passion for child advocacy, Michele has over 37 years of experience developing and maintaining resources that support the development of children who are often marginalized. Michele has a diverse educational background which includes a bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Howard University, a master’s degree in Social Work from Norfolk State University, and a Master of Arts in Law degree from Regent University. A multifaceted woman, Michele has worked with children in the behavioral health, public school, and foster care settings.
