Michael Padjen was born and raised in Midvale, UT and is an engineering graduate from the University of Utah. Michael spent the majority of his professional career in international manufacturing and sales, mostly in the kitchen cabinet and home furnishings industries. He was also an avid runner and claims to have run in 30 different countries. A Multiple Myeloma diagnosis ended his career and running, but created an opportunity for him to continue his life as an advocate for the blood cancer and immunodeficient communities through blogging, coaching, and founding of a nonprofit organization. Michael continues to stay active by walking daily with his friend and service dog Fynn and visiting with his three children and two granddaughters. He now resides in Greensboro, NC with Fynn and his beautiful wife of 41 years, Sue.
