Michael Holmes is a Savannah, Georgia native and a career police officer who brings fontline experience and a deep respect for people to his writing. He aims to offer hope and practical comfort through stories grounded in real-life encounters. His debut book The Twelfth Man Standing received an award at the 2002 Trumpet Award Show. Michael belives a book's impact depends on its readers, and he encourages written reviews to help others discover his work. His other book titles include: Black Butterfly: Bent and Broken: Segway Mike: The Secret To Life. He leads LT FAD --- Live To Fight Another Day, a nonprofit commuity awareness program focused on reducing injuries and fatalities during police encounters and with one another.
