Michael Cavallaro is an English and ESL adjunct lecturer and researcher and the author of The EPP Method: Three Super Simple Steps to Build and Retain Essential Vocabulary for Adults. With over 15 years of research and teaching experience, Michael is passionate about language and education. This passion drives his writing, which focuses on language retention and development, with the goal of helping readers build a stronger understanding of English and an ever-growing vocabulary. Michael holds two post-graduate degrees in applied linguistics, a master's degree in TESOL for college and adults and an advanced certificate in Bilingual Education both from NYU. Michael has spent over a decade teaching native and non-native speakers alike. He has worked with business professionals, ESL teachers, and company employees in a wide range of sectors, working on vocabulary development and linguistic competence. He strongly believes that an insufficient vocabulary holds people back from achieving their full potential, and he has dedicated his life to developing ways to help people acquire words and use them with skill and understanding. An avid lover of language and the power it has when used correctly, Michael is a firm believer in lifelong learning. Through continued research and teaching, he continues to expose himself to new vocabulary, enhancing himself both personally and professionally and helping others do the same.
