Maxima Runo’s journey to becoming a novelist is nothing short of remarkable, filled with explorations of both the physical and abstract aspects of the world. Her affinity for storytelling, evident from Maxima’s early years, reached a pinnacle when she began experiencing unexplained seizures at the tender age of eight. These mysterious episodes gifted her with vivid dreams, rich with intricate stories that felt like peering into an alternative universe. Writing down these exhausting and captivating visions became the driving force behind Maxima’s vitality and, eventually, her artwork. On a lifelong quest for answers to life’s most complex philosophical questions, Maxima does not stay in one place for long. She spent a year and a half living in Spain, creating paintings that found their way into private collections; studied human psychology; learned to fly a plane and earned her pilot’s licence; frequented Kenya; and pursued philanthropic endeavours in multiple countries. Even her childhood was marked with vibrance as she dedicated her time to ballet and charity work for animals.Maxima’s passions are as diverse as her adventures. She finds solace in the melodies of classical music, a love that she followed around the globe visiting great opera houses. Her personal book collection houses thought-provoking literature from every genre and time period. And she harbours a profound fascination for the cosmos and celestial wonders beyond our earthly realm. While her boundless lust for life and creative nature have taken her around the world and back, Maxima is slowing down to focus on her writing career. Heavily influenced by her experiences, dreams, and infatuations, The Curse of Antonia Arco, Book One is a fast-paced series that recounts a Gothic love story between two women while exploring deeply philosophical themes and breaking taboos.
