Matthias Schwehm has been a coach for confidence and a coach for individual fulfilment in his own practice for 17 years. He was born in Germany in 1968. He studied information technology and psychology, worked independently and free of enterprises in outside sales of the financial services branch for five years and founded a haulage and wrecking company before he finally found his calling as personal coach with a specialisation on “confidence coaching” and “individual fulfilment coaching” in January 1997. He had been active as an avocational paramedic in a rescue service for over ten years, was in charge of first aid courses, led a youth group and educated youth leaders on a national level. He discovered his passion for writing through the continuous expansion of his internet presence, e.g. www.intsel.de, and through the development of a variety of documents for the attendants of his trainings, education courses and seminars. At the time of publishing this work, he published eleven audio books, three e-books and two paperbacks. Personal At the age of 15, Matthias Schwehm already started his search for effective techniques and methods that would strengthen people’s confidence as he saw himself as quite insecure and extremely limited. Initially he turned to books, later to audio books and personal training. At the age of 18, he was fascinated by the idea of outside sales and how it would “force” him to constantly meet strange people. It seemed like a guarantee to become more confident. His big goal was to become so confident that he could make a living through cold calling (canvassing from door to door). To achieve this, he took part in many sales and motivation courses and observed what some of the cold calling stars did. After he also managed to achieve that goal, he decided that he never wanted to sell anything actively again. He felt that outside sales took too much energy and that they were not his calling. Since then he passes on essential parts of his experiences to interested and motivated people in the form of confidence coaching in small groups, confidence coaching for individuals as well as audio books, e-books and print books. By now people can also find his videos about confidence on YouTube, both in English and German.
