Mary Tess’s love of adventure prompts a “yes” to practically all new opportunities. In her search for joy and meaning, Mary Tess has attended holistic retreats and explored the world. She tricked out a van to road trip to national parks with her two German shepherds. She does most of the driving. Mary Tess was born into a large fun-loving Irish family in Queens, NY, graduated NYU, lived all around the country and now resides in St. Augustine, Florida. She is a pure-food eater, but doesn’t judge those who are not. She loves the outdoors, animals, laughing and playing sports. Mary Tess has taught skiing, snowboarding, and yoga. Her garage looks like a mini-sporting goods store. In her book Heart Value, Mary Tess teaches her readers how to recognize what lights them up, to honor what brings them joy, and to feel appreciated in ways that matter. In her podcast, True Stride, she takes Striders (aka listeners) on Wise Walks to slow down, self-reflect and feel, choose and act with intention. Prior to founding True Stride, Mary Tess was a strategy and communications executive who naturally sifted through noise, crafted plans, achieved results and enabled teams to get their stride on within billion-dollar businesses. Her business savvy, intuition and proficiency in sales, training, communications, public relations and project management empowers individuals to achieve success, based on their own personal mission and vision.
