Born in Yorkshire, England, Martin O'Toole spent over 20 years as an adman and high-functioning alcoholic before a transformative experience with Ayahuasca led him to leave London for a mindful life in Bali, Indonesia. Through plant medicines and ancient Eastern practices, Martin not only beat addiction and depression but developed the "Anatomy of Happy" – a methodology blending breathwork, Internal Family Systems, somatic awareness, and trauma-informed psychedelic integration. Today, Martin is an author, breathwork facilitator, and psychedelic integration coach. His book How To Die Happy weaves his raw personal journey with practical tools for emotional healing and sustainable contentment. His work, termed "Non-Ordinary Conscious Healing", helps people get out of their minds – shedding limiting beliefs, confronting buried parts of the self, and breaking free from the patterns and conditioning that keep them stuck. Through breathwork, psychedelic integration, and Internal Family Systems, Martin guides clients into non-ordinary states of consciousness where real, lasting transformation becomes possible. An outspoken ambassador for suicide awareness and mental health, Martin works with clients worldwide through one-on-one coaching, group sessions, retreats, and his podcast – all aimed at helping people live and die happy.
