Mark started in the fitness industry very much the same as most of you who are reading this book, in a health club. After building a successful personal training business and working his way up the management ladder, he decided it was time to go it alone. He opened his first M10 studio (1200 sq. ft) in 2006 and grew it to a team of 5 personal trainers. Once at capacity he knew it was time for bigger and better, so in 2012 he opened his flagship M10 gym in Nottingham city centre (6500 sq. ft). M10 has a team of 7 personal trainers as well as a gym membership of 150 members. M10 is a centre of excellence for personal training. Until 2015 he was a fully booked personal trainer and online coach, working with clients all across the world. He created multiple online fat loss and muscle building programmes, which enabled him to help even more people. While he was developing his brand and reputation, Mark was also a competitive bodybuilder, and competed with the UKBFF federation. In 2010 he started to support fitness professionals with their careers and began offering private internships. In 2015 he extended this further and started M10 education, with the goal of helping more personal trainers and fitness professionals all across the world. Mark and his team run courses and seminars across Europe, an in house Personal Training Mentorship, a Business Mastermind, 121 mentoring, and multiple online fitness business courses. Throughout his career Mark’s work has been published across world leading press such as FLEX magazine, Men’s Health, Muscle & Fitness, and GQ magazine. He is also a speaker, and regularly presents at large events on the subjects of coaching and fitness business. Mark has always had the attitude of improvement and constant progression, which is why his career has been constantly evolving. His mission is to give every fitness professional the opportunity to create their own fulfilling, successful and happy career.
