Malinda Gomez was born in Tucson, Arizona in 1974. She loves the desert and never has had the desire to leave. After having spent most of her young adult life raising her boys, now came the time for her to pursue new adventures in her life: finding herself, discovering who she was and what she could be. Unexpectedly, writing put her on a new path and with this new journey has come pride, joy, and confidence. Through the adventure of writing her first book Casey the Crocodoodle was born. Casey is going to star in a series of books, each having a life lesson for young kids. Some of these lessons she has seen in her own children. She hopes to inspire children to follow their dreams, to think about what they want to be, and then be that person! She hopes to branch out and write other books, but for now Casey is her baby.
