Mike Duckles is a literary enigma, wrapped in a riddle, encased in a conundrum, baked for 45 minutes on gas mark five and then served with a dipping sauce of pure mystery. Born in Lancaster, in the North-West of England, Mike now lives in Leicester. He plays in a musical combo and is a slave to two children and a chocolate Labrador. He wrote 32 other books but they were all rubbish so he set them on fire and danced around them singing nursery rhymes. The police were involved.
