She is the author of THE PEACH THIEF, a middle-grade historical novel coming from Candlewick Press in March of 2025. Before beginning to write for children, Linda worked as editor of Country Home magazine and as a freelance writer specializing in antiques, collectibles, textiles, domestic history, and gardens. She is the author of three non-fiction garden books and a lover of libraries and children's literature.
