Lila has spent more time in her own mind than she has being “present” in the real world, to be honest. When it comes to talking about herself, everything seems so mundane compared to the things she has seen and done in her imagination. This may have something to do with why she decided to start putting it in to words to share with others. Lila grew up in a semi-rural town in Florida. She has always been an avid reader and writer - though she didn’t have the cojones to publish anything before now. She is also a huge fan of wasting time on the internet. She has been a waitress, a secretary, worked in retail and done manual labor… all of which paid much better than hustling as an indie author, but were nowhere near as rewarding. She loves her life as a writer and wouldn’t have it any other way. She will eat ramen every day for the rest of her life if it means that she can keep telling stories.
