Li Zhao-King was born in Tianjin, China. She graduated from China University of Law and Political Science, then continued her studies in law and economics in Japan, the United Kingdom, and the United States of America. Li Zhao-King is a licensed attorney in New York and Washington DC and has practiced international trade law, appearing before the US Department of Commerce and the US Court of International Trade. Li Zhao-King has had deep appreciation and love for literature and philosophy since childhood. Today her interests include US-China economic relations, the impact of artificial intelligence on employment, and the translation of classical literature. Li Zhao-King has translated James Allen's As a Man Thinketh into Chinese and her recent publications include Human More Human. She now lives in Maryland, USA.
