Les Luck is a wife and mother living in California. She was diagnosed with bipolar disorder at 29 years old after experiencing a severe manic episode. She wrote to tell her story to raise awareness and fight stigma. She is currently working on a children's book entitled "Lilly's Rainbow" about a girl who learns her mother has bipolar disorder. Lilly has close friends and rainbows that help her along the way. Luck's daughter Jessie will be illustrating the special book.
