Lacey Dearie is the pseudonym of a writer from Ayrshire in Scotland. She is best known for the Leger Cat Sleuth Mysteries. Following a twenty year career as a blogger, her niche being “this happened to me” articles, and achieving a first class honours degree in Creative Writing and Religious Studies, Lacey retired from writing in 2024. She is still a member of the Cat Writers Association and would never say never to picking up her pen again one day. She now works as an executry paralegal for an Edinburgh based death-tech firm and splits her time between Scotland and Oxford where she is studying Local History at the University of Oxford.
