Hello, and welcome. I'm a novelist, a writer of short stories and occasional media articles. In October 2014, my short story, 'Crowning Glory', was the winner of the International Writing Award at the SMHAFF festival. In 2016, I was shortlisted for the Escalator Fiction Prize. The same year, I released my first novel, 'What Comes From the Earth', a thriller set in contemporary South Africa. There are some unedited extracts available on my website at www.4thousandwords.blogspot.com. In 2017, I released a new sci-fi novella called 'This Burning Man', set in post-nuclear Arizona.
