Ken has spent 40 years as a Family Physician (25 of them in the US Army). During that time, he has also developed medical automation applications; published several games for Apple computers and the iPhone; performed and directed in community theater; and, most importantly, trained as a Certified Lay Servant in the United Methodist Church. After retiring from medicine, he started a new career in designing tabletop board games. He has published "The Mansky Caper" with Calliope Games, and "Imagineers" with Maple Games in collaboration with Chris Leder. Ken speaks at several local churches, and sings in his church choir. He holds regular game nights at his church and home, alongside his bride Debi. His motto is: "I play to Grin." "Spit Out the Apple!" is his first book.
