As a children’s book author, Kate Feiffer refers to Morning Pages as her first book for adult readers, which makes it sound steamier than it is (not that there isn’t any sex, or attempts at sex, in the novel). Kate is the author of eleven books for children, the illustrator of The Lamb Cycle, an artist, avid doodler, and the creator of greeting cards - including one called The Seven Stages of Procrastination. A former television news, talk show, and documentary film producer, she is now the event producer for the writer’s festival Islanders Write. Kate currently divides her time between Martha’s Vineyard and New York city, where she grew up. Her daughter, Maddy, was the inspiration for her children’s books Double Pink and My Mom is Trying to Ruin My Life.
