June A. Van Valkenburg is a life coach who has worked in the fields of insurance, aerospace, education, manufacturing, publishing, and city government. She’s worked in large corporations, medium-sized businesses, and small businesses as well as being a sole proprietor. She’s learned that whatever the field, the way people think about their work, their employers, and their co-workers determine how satisfied or dissatisfied they are and how well they perform. As Henry Ford said, “Whether you think you can or can’t…you’re right.” Through her current life coaching and as a former small business consultant, she shares the good news that we have the power to change our thinking to change our lives. Ms. Van Valkenburg has been a Toastmaster for over 20 years and has spoken on many topics, chief among which recently is to show you how to change your thoughts to change your life. She is a Certified Quantum Success Coaching Academy Life Coach and has presented several workshops focused on becoming aware of and changing unconscious patterns of thinking that limit one’s life and career. As a public speaker to community groups, she has delivered entertaining, informational speeches on “Getting Your ‘Buts’ Out of the Way.” She is developing a two-day mind/body/spirit workshop in collaboration with two colleagues to be held September 29th & 30th, 2012, at the historic Wigwam Resort in Litchfield Park, Arizona. June lives with her husband Steve and their fur person, Princess Sylvia LeStray (who is collaborating with her servant June on her own book), in the Phoenix, Arizona, area.
