Johnny Dobbs is a writer, event speaker, and inspirational preacher. Johnny's writing comes from his own mind-numbing struggles, as well as years of study and research into the mysteries of God. Johnny and his wife, Michelle, have each spent more than fifteen years ministering to teens and adults - challenging and inspiring them to rise above the status quo to pursue their God-given purpose. Johnny and Michelle both served for twelve years at a Christian Boarding School for struggling teens. It was during a four-year-long break from ministry that Johnny began questioning the assignment of God on his own life & searching for clarity in his calling. It was in the midst of this four-year search that he wrote his first book, "Purposed By God". From the process of writing this book, a dream was born to have a greater impact. This idea is slowly becoming a reality in the form of "Purposed Impact", an organization dedicated to helping people Discover their Purpose and Impact their World. Johnny and Michelle currently pastor a church in rural southwest Georgia, Together they are spreading a message of restoration, transformation, and impact.
