As an author and transformation coach, I am driven by a profound mission: to inspire and transform individuals by instilling hope and guiding them toward living a fulfilled and blessed life. Through my latest devotional, Glued to God: A Weekly Guide to Deepening Your Relationship with the Creator, I offer readers a heartfelt roadmap to strengthen their connection with God and navigate life with purpose and faith. My journey as a teacher, podcast host, and empowerment coach has always been fueled by a passion for helping others unlock their full potential. With a Bachelor of Arts degree from John Carroll University (2004), a Master’s in Education from Notre Dame College (2009), and an Education Innovation and Leadership endorsement from Fort Hays State University (2019), I bring a rich educational foundation to all I do. Currently, I serve as an educator in a suburban school on the east side of Cleveland, Ohio, where I am committed to shaping young minds and encouraging personal growth. Beyond the classroom, I host the John Grdina Classroom Podcast, sharing insights on success, resilience, and personal transformation. I am also an accomplished ultra-endurance athlete and co-owner of Flourishing Christian Academy, a transformative community for student-athletes. Additionally, I founded 40 Days of Deliverance, a program designed to inspire holistic growth and faith. At home in Cleveland Heights, Ohio, I cherish life with my wife, Megan, and our four children—Giuliana, Benjamin, Calvin, and Elijah. Whether coaching my kids’ sports teams, enjoying nature walks with my family, or spending time with loved ones, I strive to lead a life that reflects my faith and values. Through every endeavor, my mission remains clear: to transform individuals to live a legacy life, rooted in faith, hope, and the pursuit of their God-given potential.
