At the age of 12, Joel was struck by a car and spent a year relearning how to walk. This trauma instilled in him discipline and persistence. The silver lining of this challenging experience was that he honed his programming skills and began earning income while still in grade school. Today, Joel serves God, leads his family of five, is the CTO of a podcast production company, and writes fiction. Favorite Dog: Luna, his Bernese Mountain Dog.
