The Authors Jesse G Shepherd, an award winning songwriter, has walked many paths in his journey. He has been spinning musical tales that explore relationships, societal maladies and deeper meanings of life for over fifty years. Now he's turned to writing a novel about those very subjects, fleshing out what it means to be human on the paths to awareness. Jesse is a strong supporter of "live" music performance, community radio and the spoken word. He has a B.A. from Fairhaven College, WWU, Bellingham, WA. Carolee Shepherd has spent her life in song. As an elementary teacher, or singing with community choruses, her imagination and wit has carried her through many joyful performances. Life’s deeper meanings inspire her fabric art and the belief that a better world is in our future. She has been co-creating with Jesse for over twenty years. Carolee holds degrees in Early Childhood Education from Paterson State College, and Integrating the Curriculum from City University. She is also a graduate of The Children’s Institute of Literature. Combined Carolee and Jesse have been writing songs and collaborating on multiple projects for over twenty years. Their adventures, and combined imaginations, keep creativity flowing, fueling the desire to manifest more love and laughter and a better future through artistic expression. They have lived in many places within the continental United States, and now reside in Northwest Washington state along the Puget Sound aka the Salish Sea.
